AI and Digital Capability Centres – update

ARM Hub leads an $83M submission to the Federal Government for an AI and Digital Capability Centre to be established in Queensland. The bid engages 66 partners and collaborators, and is supported by six investing universities. Our bid is supported by:

The Centre would be one of four connected AI Centres in Australia that will be augmented by CSIRO’s National AI Centre. The objectives of these AI Centres are:

  • to reduce SME barriers to the adoption of AI
  • increase SME business capability through the application of trusted, secure and responsible AI
  • support SME commercialisation into new markets; and foster Australia’s local ecosystem of AI expertise and capability.
